Emerald Isle NC Wedding
An outdoor wedding on the beach next to the ocean on Emerald Isle NC equals extraordinary fun and beautiful NC beach wedding photography! The light on the beach is unlike any other! A couple who are so obviously in love and have the warmest family to surround them in love and joy and celebration make the wedding photography even more delightful! Thanks Andy and Lisa! We sure did enjoy working this wedding with Ena, of MM Digital Photography.
An outdoor wedding plus a wedding on the beach next to the ocean on Emerald Isle NC equals extraordinary fun and beautiful NC beach wedding photography! The light on the beach is unlike any other! We saw a huge cloud moving in from the North and heard about a drenching rain storm just up the road in Salter Path so we knew it was coming at the time of the ceremony. Having lived at the beach in Emerald Isle I knew it would pass and the ceremony would continue with a small delay. Softened by the mist of rain, which made it through the decking upstairs, the roses were not complaining, and surprisingly no one else was either!
The bride was grateful for a delay in plans and continued her preparations for her wedding on the beach.
And, as anticipated, the clouds parted and sun shone through that pretty Carolina sky again, and the beach wedding was on!
This beach house had a lovely pool to entice guests and the children invited later after the wedding ceremony. Guests in neighboring beach rentals gathered to watch too.
How exciting and how lovely to have a wedding on the beach on Emerald Isle in North Carolina!
You can just read Lisa’s mind, “We did it Andy, look!”
The details were extraordinary at this wedding on the beach! They reminded me of how Martha Stewart would advise decorations for an NC beach wedding.
Lisa’s Matron of Honor, a lifelong friend, was sweet enough to pull some photographs from the archives of time and pull out some fantastic prom and dance and college day pictures from the 80s and 90s to share with guests not as fortunate to have witnessed the dresses and hairstyles from years past. How funny was that toast?
Small intimate weddings are such a joy to photograph because of the heart felt toasts and family sharings. This toast was led by Andy’s God-Mother who came all the way from Atlanta Georgia to brag on her most treasured Godson.
Congratultions Andy and Lisa! I know you will enjoy many more decades to come, and those beach vacations together will remind you of this most sacred of all days.
